Background removal is one of the most common photo editing tasks. Whether you need a clean product shot for e-commerce, a transparent PNG for design work, or a portrait with a studio-style background, AI can handle it in seconds.
What you need
- A photo with a clear subject (product, person, or object)
- AIPhotogen free account (or use as guest)
- The Scenes page → Background Remove mode
Step 1 — Upload your image
Go to the Scenes page and select "Background Remove". Click "Upload Image" or drag your photo into the upload box. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WebP up to 10MB.
Step 2 — Write a prompt
Use a clear instruction. Some examples that work well:

Step 3 — Generate and download
Click Generate. The AI will process your image in 10–30 seconds. Once the result appears, right-click the image to save it, or use the download button.
Tips for best results
- Use images with a clear contrast between subject and background
- Avoid heavily patterned backgrounds when possible
- For hair or fur, mention it in the prompt: "carefully preserve hair edges"
- For product shots, add: "maintain original product proportions"
